Holly Sebree Gripka
Retail-Compounding Pharmacist & Owner
I grew up right here in the Basehor area. My husband and I have three young children and we can’t think of a better location to raise our family. We love the benefits of living in our small community. Taking the time to grow a relationship with our customers fits my personality perfectly. Really, it’s the best part of what we do!
Mary Wise Reilly
Retail Pharmacist
My husband and I live in the beautiful country outside of Tonganoxie. As you might image, we have a busy home with our four teenagers. I grew up in the established area of Merriam, KS, so this country life is wonderful. We like to visit Lawrence and KC but sure love to come home to the country. I’m fortunate that we have an independent pharmacy that allows us to get to know our customers and their needs. What a blessing.

Chelsea Holton
Retail Pharmacist
Chelsea is a Tonganoxie High School graduate. She received her PharmD in May 2015 from the University of Kansas. Her interests outside of pharmacy include reading. Chelsea grew up in Tonganoxie and couldn’t image being anywhere else other than close to home. She has enjoyed getting to know the customers here in Basehor.
Tami Hagan
Compounding Pharmacist
I am the compounding pharmacist that you might not often see. I work in the back making custom medications for our patients. I grew up in a small town in Western Kansas, WaKeeney. I love working in Basehor because it reminds me of my hometown and the small, tight-nit community. I currently live in Prairie Village with my husband and 3 small children. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, running, and traveling.

Michelle Meyer
Certified Pharmacy Technician
We have a good thing going here at the pharmacy. My co-workers are fantastic to work with and we all strive to achieve what is in the best interest of our customers, that’s enjoyable. I grew up in the Piper area. I have two kids out of the nest. That gives me plenty of time to get over to the Legends to see if I’m missing anything. This is a great area to live and an even better place to work. Stop in to see us!
Sara Metzger
Pharmacist
I graduated from Basehor-Linwood High School in 2014 and started working at The Medicine Store as a clerk shortly after in the early fall. While working part time I was also attending the University of Kansas where I was completing Pre-Pharmacy prerequisites. In 2015, I transitioned to pharmacy technician and enjoyed being able to have more involvement in the pharmacy workflow. In 2016, I was accepted into KU’s School of Pharmacy and started working towards my PharmD degree. I completed my didactic curriculum last spring and am currently on my clinic rotations. I will graduate in May! I have cherished my time at The Medicine Store and feel extremely fortunate that I had the opportunity to learn and grow each day as a future pharmacist in my hometown. The Basehor community and all my co-workers at The Medicine store hold a special place in my heart.
